What is a Work Permit?

A work permit is an immigration document which enables someone to enter the UK and work in a professional capacity within a permanent position. You are able to leave and re-enter the UK for holidays without re-applying.

What Types of Immigration Documents are Available to a Social Worker?

The following immigration types are available: BUNAC, HSMP, Work Permit and Working Holiday Visa. Our company is registered with the OISC so work permits are a part of the service we offer as long as you hold a job offer. For all other enquiries, please contact us.

How may I Obtain a Work Permit?

To obtain a Work Permit you must hold a valid job offer. Your employer or agency with direct you as to the procedures within their organisation.

Catto acts as a representative company in preparing and completing work permits for local authorities, councils and charity organisations. We work directly with the Home Office, and to date we have a 100 percent track record for all qualified social workers who have come to live here through our services, since the company was founded in 1998.

Can Catto Provide any Assistance in Obtaining Entry Clearance?

We have many years experience of dealing with different British High Commission offices in various countries and can therefore promise a smooth entry clearance approval process.

Why is it Relevant That Catto offer a Work Permit Service?

At the point of job offer, Catto will hold all your documents on file. Therefore, the turnaround is extremely fast, as little as 2-3 days to receive an approved work permit.

How do I Know if Catto are Issuing me With Correct Advice?

Catto undergo an annual review with an official body called the OISC and are a registered advisor. To maintain this status, we have to pass an annual exam and update our knowledge of current immigration law through training courses.

How may I Obtain UK Citizenship?

Once you have lived under a permit for five years, and have an indefinite leave to remain you may undergo naturalisation to become a full British citizen.
