Your salary is generated by the hospital and paid directly to you.
NO deductions are made from your salary for an agency fee. We are

shifts within this hospital have a 12 hour shift system
CGFNS
Exam / NCLEX Exam
This
is not required as the state of Texas is exempt.
ALL applicants will be considered for the post i.e. with or without
their NCLEX. Obviously, if job offered you will be required to take
your NCLEX exam thereafter.
Texas Taxes and Cost of Living
The sales tax rate (the UK has VAT which is 17.5%)
for Texas is 8.25%. Florida and Texas are the only states within the
USA with no State Income Tax.
You can purchase a nice house within this beautiful
location for
$150,000 USA dollars (this would be a house with 3-4 bedrooms). This
would include air-conditioning. If you would like a swimming pool, this would
be slightly more expensive.
The hospital is totally state-of-the-art and all
shifts are 12 hours. The education opportunities are equally great
as the hospital would like to nurture and develop your clinical
skills.
Schools are of an exceptional quality in this
community of approx. 140,000 people. Having read over a number of
articles on this geographical area, teachers are attracted to the
high standard and low cost of living. As with the UK, schooling is
free of charge and there are always options for private schools.
From the experience and feedback of other nurses, the state schools
seem to offer the same level of teaching as the private ones.
Crime rates are exceptionally low in this area.
What
Is Being Offered
Two
year nursing contracts are offered stating an hourly rate.
Contract
contents are:
$6,000 relocation / sign on bonus
Additional $2,000 if you are job offered as an NCLEX
passer
Additional $2,000 if you are a midwife or intensive
care nurse

Health Plan –
Medical & Dental:
Our client offers a
flexible benefits plan that includes medical coverage, dental
coverage, and prescription drug services. Health benefits are
available for full-time and part-time employees. Employees pay a
small premium each pay period and our client cover the remaining cost.
We believe we have the best employees and we want to provide the
best benefits to them.
Flexible
Spending Accounts: The Flexible Benefit program allows employees
to pay for medical and dental coverage's under the Employee Health
Plan with tax free dollars. Additionally, participation in the
Health Care Reimbursement and Dependent Care Reimbursement accounts
include reimbursement for dependent (day-care) care expenses and
certain medical and dental expenses.
Life
Insurance:
Our client provides Basic
Life insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment equal to one
time the basic annual salary to full-time and part time employees.
Additional Life and AD&D may be purchased by the employee to a
maximum of three times salary. Dependent Life Insurance is optional
and provides coverage for the employee’s spouse and dependent
children.
Long-Term
Disability:
Should a full-time or part-time employee become
unable to work for an extended period of time due to sickness or
injury, long-term disability (LTD) insurance is available to replace
part of lost pay. LTD benefits are equal to 60% of basic monthly
earnings. Employees receive this benefit at no cost.
Short-Term
Disability:
Short-Term Disability (STD) is available to
full-time and part-time employees who have been employed with the
system for at least 1 year and have worked 1,250 hours in the
previous year. STD benefits are equal to 70% of employees regularly
scheduled work hours at the base rate of pay. Employees receive this
benefit at no cost.
Paid Time Off:
Paid time off (PTO) is accrued each pay period by full-time and
part-time employees and may be used for vacation, holidays, personal
illness or other personal reasons.
Retirement
Plan:
Our client’s 403(b) Retirement
Savings Plan enables employees to save for the future and enjoy a
tax break at the same time. Employees contribute each pay period and
our client matches 100% of the employees’ savings to a maximum of 4% of
their contribution after 1 year of employment and 1,000 worked
hours.
School to Work:
Our client encourages
employees to continue their education with 100% financial
assistance. Work flexibility and educational assistance allows
employees to attend school while maintaining full time pay and
benefits. The employee, in return, agrees to remain employed at our
client's hospital for a specified period of time.
Tuition
Reimbursement:
Our client encourages
continuing education and will financially assist employees with
tuition to continue their education in areas mutually beneficial to
them and the System.

Health:
Our client's employees can take
advantage of the on-site fitness room as well as health and
nutrition educational opportunities. Employee's of our client have health benefits
also include vaccinations and annual health screenings at no cost.
Cancer
Expense Insurance Plan:
Our client
offers a supplemental Cancer Expense Plan to full-time employees.
The levels of benefits payable are determined according to the level
of benefits selected by the employee and benefits are paid directly
to the employee for medical and non-medical cancer related costs.
