This bespoke private service is geared towards families caring for a loved one living in their own home with a dementia diagnosis. The information provided will cover practical tips, physical changes to look out for and a general overview of what you and the individual can do to help your situation. You will also be shown Assistive Technology items which are helpful gadgets – some more helpful and robust than others. We offer a half day of a private consultation and leave information for you to look over. Our service can improve both your own and the person with dementia’s quality of life.

 

Wendy Thomson, Registered Manager of the domiciliary care division holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Dementia Studies from Stirling University from 2013 and has a long standing history of managing dementia services for older people’s services within the community. She is also the qualified in-house trainer. You can benefit from all the experience gained on every level and ask any questions. Her specialist field within dementia is Alzheimer’s, Vascular Dementia and Mixed Dementia. She conducts regular speeches on dementia within the local community.
